Abstract
Optoelectronic terahertz pulse technologies have made remarkable progress and their applications are expanding widely. Although emission or detection techniques have been established, they are still being investigated by researchers interested in emission or detection mechanisms, or by others intended to improve performance. This work describes ultra-broadband emission and detection with an emphasis on PC-antenna detection. Applications in spectroscopy and imaging are also discussed.
