Abstract
Our biophysical analysis of the serial conscious psychological mode in normal and altered states of consciousness implies that brain-like conscious neural networks must have embedded extremely low frequency (ELF) brainwaves and complex ionic structure (with the possibility of partial displacement from the network and subsequent deterioration). This can emulate many of altered states of consciousness, including ELF electromagnetic long-range and short-range biophysical interactions.
