Abstract :
Copy-move forgery is a popular method to create forged images, where a part of a digital image is copied and moved to a different part of the same image. There are numerous techniques to detect this type of forgery, but many of them can only detect forgeries if the images are not modified after the process of creating a forgery. In this paper, we propose a technique based on the Radon transform and phase correlation in order to improve the robustness in forgery detection. We show that the proposed technique can detect forgeries even if the forged images were underwent some image processing operations such as rotation and Gaussian noise addition.
