Abstract :
A modification to well known generalised harmonic elimination technique (suggested by Patel and Hoft in 1973), to selectively eliminate harmonics in switching voltage waveforms in power converters, is proposed here. It is implemented with two and three level waveforms and its performance is studied while eliminating low as well as high number of harmonics. The ease of implementation of the modified technique allows meeting online applications at desirable accuracies
