Abstract
Some preliminary simulation results of a new dynamic micromagnetic model are presented. The model is based on a dynamic interpretation of an energy minimization process. It is used to study magnetization reversal and hysteresis. Our simulation results are compared with those generated by solving a traditional gyromagnetic dynamic equation coupled with the phenomenological Landau-Lifshitz damping
