Abstract :
We report a new THz/IR/UV source located at the free electron laser (FEL) facility at Jefferson Lab. For THz production, these electron bunches pass a chicane around the optical cavity, and therefore emit synchrotron radiation. The new facility offers simultaneous synchrotron light from the visible through the FIR along with broadband T-ray production. The FEL on the system provide record breaking levels of power by extending records in both power and operational wavelengths with 400 fs pulses at up to 74.85 MHz repetition rates.
