Abstract
An interactive multimedia learning environment is being proposed for development as a learning/teaching aid for electronics engineering students. Hypertext, audio and video will be utilised to best present the material in an effective, enjoyable, animated and dynamic manner. Lecture material, laboratory notes and tutorial examples will be included. The authoring tools utilised will include either Authorware or Netscape, leaving open the possibility of creating a World Wide Web application accessible to both full time and part time students. Student assistance will be sought during development, with hypertext linkages within any given subject, as well as between subjects
