Abstract :
By applying the idea of discrete Fourier transform to exploit the structural rotational symmetry, a simplified MPIE full wave analysis is proposed to handle planar circuits with lumped elements. Applications to a symmetrical five-port circuit and power combiner demonstrate the numerical efficiency and accuracy of this technique.
