  • Abstract
A new technique for simplifying the computation steady-state problem of a power converter is presented. This technique, which will lead to the concept of the steady-state variables, uses a topological analysis of the converter network as a systematic way of reducing the number of variables and constraints in the steady-state equation. The implementation of this technique is achieved with a simulation tool and an algorithm of direct computation of the steady-state solution. The computation of the steady-state solution of several power converters is presented to illustrate the method and to validate its performance
