Abstract :
Numerical simulation of the collector system with rotating magnetic field for millimeter wave range gyrotrons with megawatt power level is performed. The behavior of the electron beam caused by the variation of the scanning system parameters was investigated. Optimal parameters were found. It is shown that in megawatt output power gyrotrons the decreasing of the peak power density up to the level suitable for CW regime is possible.
