Abstract :
The nonnegligible time it takes to sample voltages and currents, and to perform some signal processing on the digitized signals to calculate the reference current for a PWM-converter based dynamic filter, results in a time lag of this reference. The consequence of this normally neglected effect is a surprising distortion of the ideal compensated line current. This paper investigates and evaluates this error, proposes a model for studying and analyzing this effect, and presents experimental results to substantiate the analysis
