Abstract :
The simple model of a laser exploiting two-dimensional (2D) distributed feedback is developed. It is shown that 2D Bragg resonator formed by the structure with following modulation of dielectric constant: ε=ε0 cos(h~z)cos(h~x) can provide production of spatial coherent radiation from active medium of planar geometry.
