Abstract :
Past application systems, including expert systems, were unable to meet the requirement of reusability. Web services wipe out the barriers in system development and help system developers effectively meet user requirements. This study incorporates web services with expert systems built for wireless LAN (WLAN) problems to turn the WLAN problem diagnosis expert systems into a service component structured on web services. In this manner, external systems can transmit diagnosis requests via HTTP to the WLAN problem diagnosis expert system and obtain results from it.
