Abstract
Vehicle to infrastructure communication systems are required in intelligent transportation systems. Wireless optical code division multiple access technique is employed to maintain high bandwidth efficiency at a low costs. The correlation properties for various optical spreading sequences are compared and the performance of the proposed system is evaluated. Prime sequences are excellent candidates due to their suitable correlation properties.
