Abstract :
According to the analysis of the mechanism of road network construction and regional socio-economic development, a method of adaptability evaluation was proposed to assess the road network in economic circle. A new gray correlation analysis method based on DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) was presented to evaluate the regional road network. It integrated favorable aspects of both DEA and gray correlation analysis, and took the latter as a central model. DEA determined the weight vector of correlation coefficients for each DMU (Decision Making Unit) to calculate the relatively optimal correlation degrees and then realized the priority order of the objects. This method can avoid the disadvantages of using single evaluation method, which is easily influenced by evaluation subject. Finally, an example of road network in the economic circle of Yangtze River Delta is given to prove the validity of the method effectively.
