Abstract :
In this paper, the design of a CMOS integrated circuit to control a system of elevators is presented. The chip has the capability of being configured to accomplish different standard modes of operation and also several installation specifications. The proposed chip configuration method increases the reliability and reduces production costs. The design process started from the experience of an expert in solving multiple cases of elevator operation using programmable controllers. The system configuration capability is enhanced by serial transmission cells
