Abstract :
Polarization bistability in VCSEL subject to orthogonally polarized optical injection is studied experimentally. It is shown that the VCSEL may exhibits a low power (2.8 μW) polarization switching and ultra-wide hysteresis cycle beyond 150 GHz.
