Abstract
In order to quickly develop secure and extensible server side services for mobile apps, XAuth is integrated into WCF services through Service Authorization Manager interface. By introducing XAuth into WCF services, we have enabled WCF services to quickly authenticate users and secure the server. Empirical results show that this solution can not only significantly accelerate the server side service development, but also secure the WCF services by denying any unauthorized requests. This solution could be used as a model for mobile app service development to solve the problems of user authentication and server security all at once.
