Abstract :
Requirements analysis is the most important step among the construction of an information system. There are many kinds of requirements analysis methods and techniques. All of them have successful achievements and obvious limitations. This paper puts forward a new idea called users-oriented requirement analysis. It integrates the information engineers and the end-users in a distributed interactive multimedia environment. It provides multiple kinds of input of end-users´ requirements and engineers´ facilities and results in a solution to the information system. Thus, a cooperative solving model is necessary. This paper especially presents and discusses such a cooperative solving model, called the function module system, supporting users-oriented requirements analysis
