Abstract :
The precise disturbance detection in fire and burglary protection systems by linear detectors, independently of its type, is a main problem of modern fire and burglary control equipment. This work presents experimental results realized on coaxial cable RG U/6, 200 m long. by impulse reflectometer TX6000 in possible fire protection systems where the coaxial cable should be used as detector. This work is just a small part of a large investigation applied for realization of PhD thesis “Fire and burglary protection using non-typical electric lines”, which was approved by University of Niš, evidence number 8/20-01-003/11-019.
