Abstract

This paper presents the design and implementation of a new PKI-based electronic document protection system named EDPro (Electronic Document Protection management system). We first present the highlights of EDPro system; then introduce the system design of EDPro system and the PKI application in this system. Security analysis of EDPro system is also given. Compared with existing general electronic document management system which concentrates on operating convenience for users, EDPro system enhances the security aspects during electronic documents´ creation and distribution.
