Abstract
The paper deals with the optimal thermoelectric generation problem. In particular, the secure dispatching via high performance computing is considered, in which the security with respect to a set of contingencies that can happen is taken into account, besides the generation costs. The paper reports the chosen security criterion, the model characteristics and a parallel algorithm proposed to solve it
