Abstract :
This work describes the structure of a simulink/MATLAB software package, which is appropriate for modeling and simulation of small autonomous or interconnected hybrid power systems. This package is used in order to analyze a small hybrid autonomous power system from the viewpoint of small signal, frequency, voltage and transient stability. Such systems are met in many Greek islands, especially after 1994, when the law for regulation of electricity generation from renewable energy sources was approved.
