  • Abstract
    Science and technology are the important factors and forces in promoting the development of modern productive forces and are the first factors in economic growth. How to play the role of science and technology in the economic and social development is a great important issue in the various countries and regions, it relates to a national and regional socio-economic development and the development and growth of enterprises. Study on the forming mechanism of the regional science and technology (sci-tech) business functions is the research to fill the theoretical gaps and is significant to all provinces and cities on playing to the role of the sci-tech business function. In this paper, I have research on the theory of the regional sci-tech business functions, focus on defining the regional sci-tech business functions and the formation mechanism of the regional sci-tech business functions. And then explain their characteristics.
