Abstract
The author describes how Aeronautical Systems Division (ASD) Engineering at Wright-Patterson AFB plans to implement MPT (manpower, personnel, and training) in the acquisition of weapon systems through the systems engineering process. The intent is to accomplish MPT trade studies on all ASD weapon system acquisitions with the goal of achieving MPT optimization within the system design. The rationale for MPT is given, and its implementation is described
