Abstract :
Sweep calibration is not accurate enough when a broadband system is calibrated because of its phase information loss. The proposed improvement can recover the lost phase information, based on a discrete Hilbert transform. Both magnitude information and phase information can be used to reconstruct the impulse response and step response of the system. So, the broadband system can be calibrated accurately.
