Abstract :
In this paper, two main approaches: spectrum slicing technique and looped-back technique which are used in wavelength division multiplexing passive optical networks (WDM-PON) to provide fungible ONU optical sources are introduced with detail schemes evaluated as well. At the end, we analyzed some schemes with joined broadcast signal in WDM-PON to show the performance and feasibility.
