Abstract :
This paper describes an architecture and its experimental design of a distributed data-base computer which supports local area network (LAN). The presented database computer is designed to control not only LAN management but also distributed database management. Design architecture and its implementation focus on circuit configuration of the database computer, software structure, network protocol, query processing of distributed database and concurrency control by timestamp mechanism.
