Abstract :
This paper applies a power allocation (PA) strategy for OFDM relaying systems with bit error ratio (BER) formula. Transmission with relays can improve the system power efficiency and reduce the BER. Because the performance of relaying systems is influenced by power of the transmitter and the relay, optimization of power allocation is proposed to minimize BER and a simple sub-carrier pairing strategy is adopted to improve the system performance further. The simulation results show that efficient power allocation and sub-carrier pairing strategy will greatly reduce the BER.
