Abstract :
When people calculate water influx using the gas reservoir engineering method, they usually utilize three methods of van Everdingen-Hurst, Carter-Tracy and Fetkovich. In this paper, we analyze and compare the three traditional calculation of water influx. Then after a detailed analysis of Fetkovich method, water influx calculation software is developed using vb.net based on Fetkovich method. Finally, example is calculated using the software developed.
