Abstract :
In reverse supply chain, the quantity of collected used-products is the crucial factor to the total profit. However, the quantity of collected used-products is uncertain and this uncertainty will result in the loss of the total profit. RFID/EPC can help to reduce this uncertainty by using real-time monitoring. In this paper, we will study the optimal decisions of the quantity of collected used-products in reverse supply chain under two different cases: with and without RFID/EPC, and give the analysis of the impacts of RFID/EPC on the optimal decisions.
