Abstract :
A model-algorithmic control based on the Volterra/ Wiener system model has been used for the control of nonlinear systems. The algorithm exhibits robustness features when the underlying model is very crude and when the system experiences an external disturbance. The algorithm can be extended to incorporate adaption provided certain input-stability conditions are met.
