Abstract
The Reconfigurable Signal Processor is a single drawer, modular assembly for performing real-time spectral analysis. It is designed to achieve the high throughput and some of the flexibility of array processor cascades but to reduce the control problems inherent in distributed systems. In addition to real-time digital filter and FFT processing, the RSP can perform envelope detection and frequency domain adaptive filtering.
