Abstract :
The sustainable development of a region is mainly embodied in population, resources, economy, environment and social life, etc. The coordinated development of these factors directly influences the validity of its development. Therefore, the paper employs the DEA (the short form of Data Envelopment Analysis) method to analyze the actual situation of the validity of the sustainable development in Wuhan in recent years so as to determine the decision making units with DEA and without DEA effectiveness. Besides, the paper makes an improvement of the decision making units without DEA effectiveness in order to raise the efficiency in using manpower, finances, materials and environment, optimize the resource arrangement and well coordinate the relationship between the economic development and society and environment by way of increasing the capacity of the sustainable development in Wuhan.
