Abstract

This paper presents implementation of graphical user interface (GUI) for digital TV receiver and GUI connection to middleware via browser plugins. GUI needs to provide information about services, parental control, reminder, browsing and displaying DLNA contents, selection of audio signal, sound settings, teletext, subtitle, etc. This paper also presents three techniques for optimisation of HTML/JavaScript application with their results.
