  • Abstract
Probing the properties of a human body by using an impulse pulse wave (PW) is a new method which has higher resolution than radar, laser or infrared. The research means and techniques on how to use the high-resolution properties of subnanosecond impulse PW to study the special properties of penetration and reflection in the human body are introduced in detail in this paper. The experimental results prove that the body probing scheme using subnanosecond impulse PW is perfectly feasible. The research and application pave way for a new probing means for the human body, and it will have considerable significance for the development of biomedical engineering.
