Abstract :
The authors propose a new immunity/susceptibility test method which uses an electromagnetic field rotating slowly in a two-dimensional plane. The paper describes an overview of the proposed method and an application to a four-septum TEM cell as another new test method. The proposed methods are useful for easily finding the defective directions of an equipment under test against fields impinging in an arbitrary direction. The results might feedback to the design and development phase of products.
