Abstract :
A numerical approach for multiobjective optimal load flow dispatching and a computer program written in C and FORTRAN are presented. A methodology as well as the algorithms were developed for realizing this multiobjective optimization. They minimize the fuel cost and total system real power line loss under certain load demands. A software package was developed to offer the user a friendly man-machine interface. An IEEE standard five-bus system was computed by the optimal load flow program and by a traditional load flow program. The optimal result is compared to the nonoptimal solutions to evaluate the cost savings
