Abstract :
MUSMAR equilibrium points are studied in the context of adaptive regulators based on ARX modelling of ARMAX plants. It is shown that they coincide with the ones of the underlying multistep stochastic control problem. Moreover, the conjecture of MUSMAR robustness against mismodelling errors is supported by an analysis of a restricted complexity regulator of MUSMAR type.
