  • Abstract
    A theoretical method for calculating the nonlinearity of diode detectors is suggested. The calculated results are presented to show the variation of the nonlinearity of a diode detector with the parameters of the diode, video impedance, and operating frequency. A comparison between the calculated results and the experimental ones presented by C.A. Hore et al. (1976) shows the validity of the method
