Abstract :
The investigation of spatio-temporal organization of the specific and unspecific evoked potentials components at the vibrisses projection zone of the rat somatic cortex has been fulfilled. A focal bioelectric activity record took place simultaneously by using 4 microelectrodes from upper, input and lower, output parts of two cortical barrels. In addition, activities of the mean brain reticular formation, unspecific and specific relay thalamus nuclei were recorded in a number of experiments. The secondary rhythmic responses, in contrast with primary responses caused by the specific afferentation, depended on unspecific systems functional state and background cortical activity
