Elementary kinetic processes in ES and EM wave turbulences

Abstract :
Charged particles in electrostatic (ES) and/or electromagnetic (EM) wave turbulences incessantly interact with a variety of pulses/wavepackets, including solitons. Various acceleration mechanisms of charged particles driven by generalized ES or EM waves are summarized. Then, based on these elementary processes, some kinetic effects that are expected in ES or EM wave turbulences are investigated.
