Abstract :
Solar power system (SPS) transmits microwave energy to receiving site(s). SPS generally uses a retrodirective system which steers the microwave beam to the direction of a pilot signal sent from the receiving site. Microwave beam control issues including beam pointing accuracy, retrodirective systems, and propagation effects are discussed.
