Abstract
This paper addresses the problems of nonlinear H∞ controller design for autopilot design. A systematic procedure to find Taylor series approximations to the solutions of the Hamilton-Jacobi-Isaacs (HJI) equation is proposed. The effectiveness of the proposed nonlinear H∞ control design approach is demonstrated by using the HAVE DASH II bank-to-turn missile autopilot as an example
