Abstract :
High resolution direction of arrival estimation for multiple wideband sources is discussed in this paper. The proposed method involves two steps. Preliminary estimates of the angles are obtained via an eigendecomposition method such as MUSIC for several non-overlapping bands of frequency. A "focussing" operation is then presented that uses information from all the sub-bands to obtain high resolution estimates of the angles in regions of interest. An example is provided to illustrate the method.
