Abstract :
A short description of a device aimed at a full and automatic characterization of human sperm is given in this paper. The emphasis is put on its technical and algorithmic features. The system offers a suitable basis for object tracking within a temporal image sequence and for the study of path shapes. The validation already done leads to better insights of human fertility.
