  • Abstract
    In this paper, soft decision based cooperative sensing for cognitive radio network is investigated. Cooperative sensing is generally regarded as a promising technique to improve the reliability of spectrum sensing in cognitive radio network. Two soft decision based cooperative sensing schemes are proposed to improve the detection performance by exploring SNR fluctuation and sophisticated data combination based on SNR, respectively. Simulation results show that the detection performance can be improved without extra signaling overhead, compared with existing soft decision based cooperative sensing methods.
