Abstract :
From early 2013, the Pleiades-HR constellation (2 satellites Pleiades-HR 1A et Pleiades-HR 1B) is fully operational and delivers very high-resolution images including single pass stereoscopic pairs. This system designed by CNES could be a good compromise for cartographic information updating because of the wide swath of acquisition and the agility of the platforms that allow high revisit capability. IGN-France has identified Pleiades-HR as a potential source of data to update its databases.
