Abstract
We introduce a semigroup model with jumps in a Hilbert space and give the H2 and H∞ control theory for it. We then show that sampled-data systems with first-order hold can be expressed by this model. Interpreting the abstract results, we obtain the H2 and H∞ results for sampled-data systems
