Abstract :
We present several results of the leader-following paradigm in the formation flying of multiple spacecraft in free space. In this direction, ideas from elementary graph theory and linear matrix inequalities are combined with logic-based switching to shed light on the various control designs which are feasible using the leader-following mechanism for various formation flying scenarios
